Janelle Aberle
discovered yoga as a means to recover from and stave off injury in activities
such as skiing, hiking, climbing, running, cycling and martial arts. What she
has found through studies with Robin and personal practice is a way of living
that holistically integrates the physical, mental and spiritual realms of human
"beingness". For her, the greatest freedom yoga has enabled is the awareness to
recognize and let go of physical, mental and emotional patterns that do not
serve toward optimal health and well being. Janelle has trained with
Robin for more than 15 years – most intensively in the last 5 – 2003 Advanced
Studies and 2007 Teacher Training.

Lynn Hughes, D.O., RYO
is a registered yoga teacher and psychiatrist with the Evergreen system. She
completed the Advanced Studies Program in 2003 and the teacher training program
with Robin in 2005. Lynn came to yoga looking for proven and practical teachings
to guide her work in combining the best of Eastern and Western approaches to
health. What she found was much more. As a doctor she found that many patients
understood what they needed to do to help themselves heal and grow, but the
ability to make real changes in their lives was difficult. Lynn reflects,
"The actual practice of yoga bridges that gap between knowing and doing. Yoga
accepts you where you are and invites you to discover what riches can be
uncovered when the body, mind, and spirit are explored together. Every class is
an opportunity to actually experience what acceptance and change feel like.
Experiencing the yoga adventure as a student and with students is a constant
source of joy. Yoga is a science leading to practices that invite us to live
life more fully and authentically." Lynn teaches in the collaborative
program with Overlake Hospital Senior Healthcare and loves to teach a wide
variety of classes. Her passion is bringing opportunities to students to explore
the deeper teachings in a series called YogaMind, various workshops, and Sutra
studies.

Amy Jarvis
was first exposed to yoga in 1994, in a small town college classroom whilst
looking for that “something” to deepen her body, mind and heart. Not knowing
exactly what it was and when it would appear, she continued her journey of study

and she knew it was time, having found the lessons of the Yoga Sutra’s under her
mentor, Robin Rothenberg. Amy will complete her certification in July 2007, but
professes that she will be a lifetime student and is humbled to teach and share
in lives of others.
